Topic of the Seminar: Role of Commerce Education in changing Business Environment

A seminar was organized for all CBSE and CHSE Commerce students in the Auditorium of the institution. The seminar was enlightened by the presence of Prof.(Dr.)A.K.Das Mohapatra, Head of Business Administration Dept., Sambalpur University , Academic Advisor Mr. D. Nageshwar Rao and Mr. S. N. Panda, Principal , Vikash Junior College.

Ms Kirti Parmar coordinated the proceedings and Mrs Trupti Gartia read out the profile of the resource person .
Prof. Dr A.K.Das Mohapatra: The speaker outlined the prospects and opportunities in commerce education in India. He presented a complete picture of the strength of Indian economy in global context. He talked about the availability of different courses in India to meet the challenges of globalised economy. The students were given information about their career opportunities in different management institutes.

In the questionnaire session the students enquired about the relevance and utility of the designed syllabus in tune with the competitiveness of the outer world. The session was a lively one and reflected the need of such programme to enhance the confidence level of students.
