VISIT OF FOREIGN EDUCATIONIST

A group consisting of four delegates from U.K. visit the campus of Vikash Residential School today who are welcomed with all joviality and warm wishes. They come from U.K.I.E.R.I (United Kingdom and India Education and Research Initiative) to understand the Indian system of education. A meeting was held under the president ship of the chairman, Vikash Educational Institution D.Murali Krishna to exchange their view points on education of both the country . They were accompanied by the Principal Navodaya Vidyalaya, Goshala Sambalpur Mr. B.S.Pattanaik . Sri G.Bhaskar Rao, M.D., VEI, Sri D.Nageswar Rao Academic Advisior VEI, V.Srinivas, Academic Director VEI were others among the dignitaries. Gargi Suman Tripathy, a student of class IX welcome the guests. During the questionnaire session the delegates appreciate the Indian system of education, the readiness of students and the commitment and dedication of the teachers as far as the teaching and learning process is concerned. They expressed their agony for they are not getting the scope to learn any other language except their mother tongue and neither the students are nurturing any optimism nor the teacher are so committed like India .They highly admired the Indian curriculum of education for it is giving priority to its rich cultural heritage, the all time adorable one . Sisir Prasad Raulo, Principal Vikash Residential School offered the vote of thanks at the last.
